The Sprouted Acorn is an inclusive cottage school held in the private residence of a veteran homelearning family. The mission of The Sprouted Acorn is to pair area mentors with homelearning families of all backgrounds, ages and interests; to broaden the availability of learning experiences; and to provide opportunities for homelearning families to meet one another. Some fees apply. Ages of students vary according to the course or event.

Our homelearning family has started a seedling venture in our home called The Sprouted Acorn, a place where homelearners can meet and be mentored by local artists, craftsmen, and teachers in the community. I am a mom looking for a christian family to help teach my son this year and I was hoping someone here in holmes county would volunteer to help me while I work towards my GED.
