I have homeschooled my 9 yr. old daughter since first grade. We recently seem to be in a rut so my daughter wanted to go a "public school" to meet some children. She's doing great but I realize that the entire fourth grade is just now learning what my daughter learned two yrs. ago. I'm taking her out of school so I can start teaching her again but I feel we're going to have a problem because we can't seem to find any local group of homeschoolers for her to interact with. I know there are co-ops and a lot of homeschooled children in the Alabaster area but I can't seem to find them. Please contact me if you know of any co-ops or want to begin one. Field trips would be another great idea. I live in Park Forest Subdivision near Veterans Park on 119.

I am looking for some one to homeschool my two children. A 12 year old boy and a 10 year old girl in the Alabaster area. I work a full time job and have a huge fear that as my children are about to start middle school that they could fall behind and the teachers are unable to stop and give extra help when needed.
