I was wondering could my daughter receive help in reading and spelling. She is very eager to learn but struggles with these subjects and short term memory. We are doing child studies and an evaluation when the board approves this. She may be in danger of retaining, so I need all the help she can get.

Looking for someone who homeschools, I have a 2nd grader on the autism spectrum disorder (aspergers) recently diagnosed. Very intelligent that goes to a private Christian school but wants to go to public school. The public elementary school in my home district is not to my husbands standard, and my son has extreme social anxiety. Want to get him home schooled at least for his 3rd, maybe 4th grade year too. Cannot do it myself.

I am a mother of three young children. Two girls and a little boy. I have been homeschooling my oldest since the beginning of 2nd grade. My middle daughter starts this year. Unfortunately the school system is not a healthy environment,when your child has special needs. My middle child has medical problems which include her immune system not able to fight off illness. Having a child with a rare Genetic disorder which doctors know nothing about yet is challenging but, having our children at home together brings us all closer and stronger. Even if the two older children didn't have special needs, we still planned on them being home schooled after 3rd grade. We are truly a Blessed Family.
