Started in 2004 by a small group of parents, Veritas Academy offers a classical education in a traditional Catholic setting. Teachers and staff take an oath of fidelity to the Holy Father and local bishop. I am a homeschooling Mom. I have homeschooled all three of my childrenat one time or another. Now I am only at home with my 9 year old who has some significant language/learning delays. We've spent loads of money havng him assessed by private and public school specialists and there is nothng conclusive. He is kind and helpful, but struggles with basic math and is currently working at about 2 years behind his grade level. I would love some help from somebody with a special ed background!

I am certified to teach in Washington and Michigan with endorsements in History (4-12) and Latin (K-12). Currently I am available to teach, or to tutor, grades 1-12. Tutoring: $30/hour.

I am interested in info about finding a christian cottage school for my son. I live in Des Moines. I also would like to know if there are any co-op cottage schools.
