We will be moving to Dundee in October. We are just starting homeschooling with a 5, 3 and 1 year old. I also teach private flute, piano and voice lessons to allow me to stay home.

I will be moving to Dundee/Newberg shortly. I have two boys 3 and 5. We will be homeschooling officially for Kindergarten in the fall but are trying some things our currently. I would love support, networking, and partnership :)

I am currently homeschooling my 9 year old using Latina Christiana, Memoria Press history and Saxon math (for the basics) I would LOVE to have someone else to work together with in giving our children a true classical christian education.

I have recently moved to Newberg Oregon and was wondering if there were any other Mom's out there homeschooling? I would
like to find out if there are any support homeschooling groups in the area? Park Days? Field trips?

Veritas School is a K-12 classical, Christian school of 255 students in its 10th year in 2006-2007. All of our 30+ graduates have been accepted to four-year colleges and universities such as Wheaton, Hillsdale, Grove City and many others. We are currently beginning a capital campaign to build a 52,000 square foot building on five acres north of Newberg.

We currently offer Kindergarten, ages 3-5, Grades 1-12. Primary grades are placed in a blended, language-centered classroom, with Switched-On-Schoolhouse (AOP) implemented at Grade 3. An upper learning center houses grades 4-12, with supplementation of electives to assist the students with variety. Skill mastery in basic core subjects are top priority with extra-curricular activities encouraged through parental oversight for areas such as music, dance, sports, etc.

I have been classically homeschooling my children since 2004. This year we added an extra student to our homeschool and we have enjoyed having an extra child here during the day. I am interested in adding other students to my homeschool as well as discussing the possibility of a classical co-op or cottage school with other parents.

I am a homeschool parent/learning coach of a wonderful teen daughter, which I raise independently. Since 2002, I work as a substitute teacher's aide in public schools. Now,I also offer private tutoring services for Basic Reading, Writing, and Math Skills. I like the multi-sensory individualized teaching approach, with adaptive measures to accomodate various learners.
