I am a mother of three, ages 8,11,& 16. I home school just the two older children at this point. I am doing this because my two older kids have some learning problems that also interfere with attendance. This causes me to be spending all my time fighting off school officials and CPS. Meanwhile, my children are getting worse and not getting there education or help to make learning do-able, let alone enjoyable. I'd rather spend this time educating my children.

I produce a television show called "Maestro Darrell's Music Workshop" and it teaches children ages 6-9 musical concepts. We explore concepts like rhythm as well as introduce music from around the world. With it is an accompanying curriculum that follows the guidelines of the California Standards of Performing Arts and it is designed specifically for non-musical parents and teachers. Maestro Darrell will teach the lesson and all the parent or teacher needs to do is operate the DVD player or VCR. They too will learn music as well.
