This support group, inclusive and non-profit, fosters a rich social life amongst homeschool and small school students by organizing sports leagues, dances, games, Karaoke, bowling, pizza or movie nights. We empower teens to take responsibility for fun: to pick the events, decide upon the participants, set rules and select volunteers on this site, even to set up and clean up.

I teach piano, folk guitar, and recorder from my home. I also have 2 homeschool choirs: one for K-8 that meets on Thursday afternoons, and another for highschool on up that meets on Fridays. Our recorder choir is really fun! Piano and recorder start from age seven and up.

I produce a television show called "Maestro Darrell's Music Workshop" and it teaches children ages 6-9 musical concepts. We explore concepts like rhythm as well as introduce music from around the world. With it is an accompanying curriculum that follows the guidelines of the California Standards of Performing Arts and it is designed specifically for non-musical parents and teachers. Maestro Darrell will teach the lesson and all the parent or teacher needs to do is operate the DVD player or VCR. They too will learn music as well. The School of Choice, located in San Jose near 85 and Camden, offers a classical education to day school and homeschooling ISP students from grades 6-12. We teach everything from Shakespeare to Basketball to Advanced Placement Physics course with really small student/teacher ratios and a social environment which includes dances and field trips.
