Hi, I'm Erika, wife to Chris and mom/teacher/mentor to Zekariah (age 14 w/Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), Hypotonia (low muscle tone), Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Biblical Savant & Ancient history buff), Luke (age 12, w/ADHD, SPD, Dyslexia, poor vision & slight lazy eye, gifted in several areas), & Daniel (age 8, w/Asperger's Syndrome, SPD, Dyslexia, very gifted in several areas & behavioral issues due to perfectionism).
I've been advocating, writing & speaking about homeschooling in general and also the specific needs of homeschooling special needs and/or gifted children since 1999.
