I homeschool my fourteen and twelve year old children. I also tutor other children, sometimes over the telephone. I am looking into forming a cottage school.

I am just starting out with homeschooling. I have 6 kids. The oldest is my step-daughter she is 7. She goes to Quartz Hill Elementary school. My husband and I chose to homeschool our kids. Drake is now 5 and we have been working on the basics. I need help figuring out what I need to do to ensure that if anyone does come knocking on our door everything is recorded and we won't have any problems.

I have been a Tutor/Mentor in my Lancaster Area home since February 2003.
Previously I taught in three private schools. I specialize in ADD and HDHD students, and worked
with several Alternative Ed programs. Currently I am tutoring 8:30 am to 2:40 pm M-T-W-Th. I keep records as to the students progress, prepare quarterly progress reports, as well as Final Yearly grades to send to Homeschool Programs for Ca Education records.

First Lutheran Christian School would like to offer homeschool parents an opportunity to partner with us in the areas (K-8th)in which they would like support. Children can ennroll in the classes or programs the parent selects (subject to availablity). For example, join us for a music, art, or spanish class. How about enrolling a middle school student in pre-algebra, algebra, or Science class. We respect what you do. Contact us to design a program that suits your needs.

I have taught 2-8th grade. I have taught all subjects in those grade levels. I have taught special ed., second language learners, regular and gifted students. My goal is to be able to retire from my current teaching job so that I can home school my 2 grandchildren.

I am a credentialed English high school teacher, with a minor in TESL. I speak fluent Spanish and I don't have any kids of my own, but will soon! :) And with all the new laws being passed about homeschooling, I am looking into starting my own private tutoring program directed towards homeschoolers and helping them out with these new regulations. Right now I am just looking into things, but if possible I would like to start taking students this next academic year

I am a mother and music educator in Northirdge with a Montessori and Waldorf-oreinted teaching style. I would like to homeschool my child in an already established group in the Northridge or Granada Hills area. I can also teach music lessons and appreciation and biology to your homeschooled children.

I am a Masters in Computers. I did Engineering in Mechanical also. I am excellent in teaching kids, children, under-graduates and graduates, who need assistance in school, college or university in all disciplines of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, Engineering, Computers.

I have 30 years of experience teaching 5th through 12th grade public school, and would like to be a guest teacher for groups of students with common interests. Lessons can range from Shakespeare to the Constitution, Theater Makeup to Beginning Spanish, Beginning Knitting, The Miracle Worker, or the American Civil Rights movement. Depending on the age & topic, classes range from one to two hours. Cost for a class of 10 to 14 students would be $100 per hour, but rates for each class would be worked out individually. Guest artists for certain activities would have separate charges - but SO worth it! Posted 3-3-06
