NICHE (Northern Inclusive Colorado Home Educators) is an eclectic and inclusive association of families who homeschool for a variety of reasons useing a variety of methods. ACE Homeschool Group is a Non-Directed Homeschool Support Group located in Colorado, with most members living in the south and east parts of metro Denver, including Aurora, Bennett, Centennial, Watkins and surounding areas. The primary focus of this group is to provide a safe, friendly environment for us to develop friendships and learn in. We plan weekly get-togethers and field trips. I am familiar with best practices for literacy. I am a Christian who is able to relate to children in a postive, yet disciplined way. I am looking for a chance to tutor or work in a private school. K-12 Public Charter School, Classical Education grounded in the trivium. Curriculum-K-8 Core Knowledge, Curriculum-High School libral arts, academically rigorous. Daily Instruction in Spanish K-5, Latin 6-8, Latin required in High School. We welcome homeschoolers (grades 7-12) for full- or part-time attendance. The bands provide a unique and supportive opportunity for kids to learn a new instrument, supplement private lessons, play with a group, and have fun. I am certified and licensed in Colorado and have worked in the public system for about 35 years. I have been both a teacher, 1st-6th, an assistant principal for a K-5 school, and a tutor or a middle school student.
