NICHE (Northern Inclusive Colorado Home Educators) is an eclectic and inclusive association of families who homeschool for a variety of reasons useing a variety of methods. We have secular families and religious families. We have Unschoolers and Classical schoolers and everything inbetween. Our membership is based in Boulder county and the surrounding areas. We come from Boulder, Broomfield, Erie, Lafayette, Longmont and more. Membership is free.

K-12 Public Charter School, Classical Education grounded in the trivium. Curriculum-K-8 Core Knowledge, Curriculum-High School libral arts, academically rigorous. Daily Instruction in Spanish K-5, Latin 6-8, Latin required in High School. We welcome homeschoolers (grades 7-12) for full- or part-time attendance. We have many elective courses, included but not limited to, band, orchestra, choir, physical education, health, rhetoric, composition,Latin, Spanish, German, French, Moral Philosophy, Economics, Technology courses, art courses. Homeschoolers (9-12) are also welcome to enroll in the core courses, Literature, History, Math (basic through Calculus III), Science (biology, chemistry, physics, earth science) and participate in our Many, varied,extra-curricular offerings.

Trinity Lutheran School uses the classical triviuum model. The school offers instruction in pre-school through 6th grade. Latin begins in 3rd grade. Our History program is from Veritas Press and the grammar is the Shurley Grammar method. We teach science from a creation perspective and use the Lutheran faith Law/Gospel as the basis for all we do.

I teach traditional sight-reading, beginner to advanced, all ages, using Faber, Bastien, Alfred's and Thompson method books, with a strong emphasis/foundation in classical. Mile High Community Band offers four bands (Beginning, Intermediate, Concert, and Jazz), and provides opportunities for kids and adults of all ability levels. The bands provide a unique and supportive opportunity for kids to learn a new instrument, supplement private lessons, play with a group, and have fun. After 4 years as an AVID tutor and 2 years as a middle school teacher, I returned to school to work on my PhD. I currently teach computer science during the school year, but am available to tutor mathematics and other subjects.
