Intervention works best when it is delivered in an intensive, systematic and consistent manner by highly trained teachers. Research has shown that whether students are taught in one-on-one tutoring or in small groups of no more than 3 students, achievement is equally impressive. Therefore, small groups are used to provide the learner with multiple opportunities to practice and respond while learning in a supportive environment.
