CCP is a unique educational experience. There are multi age and grade groups in combined classes to achieve higher learning toward grade level and beyond. Classes are broken up by gender for core subjects to maximize learning. The program for 2008-2009 will allow up to three part time students (3 or 4 day “in class” days per week) and three or more full time students (5 days per week) in each classroom. The maximum is six students per room in order to give individual attention to each student. Students are grades 6th-8th. CCP welcomes students that have had difficulty with academics (one or more subjects), want to raise their Stanford Achievement test scores to a higher level, or for the student that has “not fit in” due to unique circumstances in a traditional setting. Recently Graduated from the College of St. Thomas More, a Catholic college in the classical liberal arts tradition, with an A.B. in Liberal Arts. Main areas of study were Theology, Philosophy, Latin, and Literature.

Looking for a teaching position in the area in either Literature, Philosophy, or Latin, at the high school level, but also available to tutor said subjects for the time being.

This is my first year homeschooling our 2 children. We have a 7 year old boy (doing advanced work) and a 3 year old girl. We would love to have playdates with other open-minded homeschoolers. ESL, English tutor. History, Social Sciences. Have been teaching for 10+ years, k-12 and University level. Have BA and graduate school.
