Nielsen's House of Learning, located in Azle, Texas offers a variety of services. We have a fully stocked Teacher Supply Store, and ONLINE Teacher Supply Store, a private tutoring center, as well as Day Classes for Homeschoolers. We are trying to broaden our services and are entertaining the idea of becoming a cottage school or a private school. Most of our teachers/tutors are certified teachers and those who aren't have advanced degrees in their subject matter. LATIN instruction. I am a current junior high teacher in Latin with a fourteen year background in mostly high school subjects. My degree is in Greek; whereas, I have taught high school English (all levels), mathematics (all levels), and sciences including physical, biology, physics, chemistry, and anatomy/physiology. I have a Master's degree in Spanish Literature from Purdue and have taught from pre-readers to university level students using various methodologies from grammar based to Total Physical Response. Currently I am certified in NY and TX. I am fluent and accurate in the language, and will facilitate a set curriculum or create one addressing the objectives of one or a group of students.
