Nielsen's House of Learning, located in Azle, Texas offers a variety of services. We have a fully stocked Teacher Supply Store, and ONLINE Teacher Supply Store, a private tutoring center, as well as Day Classes for Homeschoolers. We are trying to broaden our services and are entertaining the idea of becoming a cottage school or a private school. Most of our teachers/tutors are certified teachers and those who aren't have advanced degrees in their subject matter. My son is currently enrolled through the Texas Tech K-12 program. He is in 6th grade. We are relocating to Switzerland and need to home school through the end of this year. I would like to find a tutor who is strong in math, but that could also help in other areas.

I have a BA in Spanish from Trinity Univeristy in San Antonio, TX. I am also in the process of applying to medical school so I have taken numerous biology and chemistry classes. I am currently working on my masters degree and Language Therapy for certification from SMU, and am trained in Alphabetic Phonics, MTA, and Project Read. I work largely with the dyslexic community as well. My teaching style depends on the student being tutored, however I love to make learning meaningful and fun! I am seeking to find students/families who would benefit from fun, diverse, interactive instruction. Many of my students have had special needs, both academically and socially.
