I started homeschooling my 3 kids in September 2003, we have been very eclectic in our homeschooling style and are interested in the Classical and Charlotte Mason methods. Currently we are working on a unit study on dinosaurs.

I am currently homeschooling my two sons, ages 12 and 14. I will hopefully be homeschooling my grandson in the next few years and definately plan to homeschool the baby I am expecting early December. We live in Loranger, LA.

Overlook Country Day is a cottage school serving gifted learners and all homeschoolers. Currently we offer an enrichment day every Friday for homeschoolers and plan to open to a small class of gifted students in 2006 on a full time basis.

I have tutoring after school Mondays - Thursdays for other kids in my community. My husband and I developed a Classical curriculum and have followed (yet altered for our purposes) from The Well-Trained Mind. I have several resourse teachers who come in to teach their speciality to our group (like Spanish). We range in age from 5 to 15. I guess it is like a cottage school.
