The keynote speaker, Fr. Pablo Straub, directs missions, retreats and Marian Eucharistic Conferences, besides evangelizing on Mother Angelica’s EWTN and on Mexican Catholic television. The featured speaker, Laura M. Berquist, is founder and director of Mother of Divine Grace School, a home study program currently serving 2400 students. A teens’ and children’s program as well as limited childcare is also available. The exhibition hall features a variety of educational materials in all subject areas plus resources on family life, spirituality and religious gifts. Homeschooled 2 children......son until High school (currently a senior in Christian Life) and daughter I homeschooled her until this yr.(currently attending 8th grade at Christian Life). Her transition from homeschool to traditional school is overwhelming to her, possibly looking for an alternative to CLS and my own homeschool.

H.E.A.R.T. (Homeschool Enrichment Achieved Respectfully Together) is a nine-month, weekly program for homeschooled children from kindergarten through 8th grade that supplements the teaching they receive at home through qualified instruction in the areas of art, science, Spanish, music and physical education. In addition, students are exposed to a wide variety of other subjects during month-long unit studies taught by parent volunteers.

C.C. is a one-day, comprehensive, academic program that follows a classical method in both the subjects taught and how those subjects are taught. Students are in C.C. classes on Mondays and are responsible to accomplish homework from those classes during the week under their parents' supervision. C.C. serves students in third through twelfth grade.

We are a small Christian classical school near Oak Park/Chicago. We welcome students of all faiths. We teach Latin, and use Shurley Grammar, Spalding's Writing Road to Reading, Saxon Math, and Bauer's History of the World, among other curriculum. We have part-time preschool, and grades K-8.

Qualifications and Experience:
-Earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Studies from COLUMBIA COLLEGE OF MISSOURI in May 2003 and am a 3-time Dean’s List Honoree.
-Earned my Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies from the COLLEGE OF LAKE COUNTY and am a 5-time Special Commendation Recipient.
-Took Introduction To Teaching at the College of Lake County in the summer of 1996 and received a 'B'. I had to produce a Philosophy of Education and produced THE BEST one of everyone in class. Mine was held up as an outstanding model of what a Philosophy of Education should be.
-For 4 months, from January 2000 to May 2000, I was a tutor for the U.S. Department's Educational talent Search Program while at the College of Lake County finishing my Associate's degree. I was assigned Abbott Middle Scool in Waukegan, IL and spent an hour with students several times a week assisting them with Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies under the guidance of a more experienced tutor in the program.
-Since March 2005, I've been substitute teaching for several public districts in addition to a few Catholic schools. (District 67 (Lake Forest Elementary) and District 70 (Liberytville Elementary) use me the most!!!)
-I've been teaching 4th garde Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (aka religious education) from August 2006 to April 2008 at St. Paul The Apostle in Gurnee.
-Since April of 2007, I've been tutoring part-time for Huntington Learning Center. I do mainly 1:1 tutoring and work with kids to help improve their reading, writing, and math skills. I also help them form better study habits.
-One of my professional affiliations includes the National Tutoring Association (NTA).
