I am considering homeschooling my 8yo and 5yo daughters. A little afraid to pull 8yo out of public school...not sure what curriculum to use, etc. Just the usual concerns for a potential new homeschooler. So far I love the classic approach from what I've read...but not positive.

For homeschool students, grades 7-12. Teachers will be fellow Christians implementing a blend of homeschool education and traditional classroom instruction. Core academic subjects and some electives will be offered. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning August 23, 2005. We will have 72 class meetings with the last day May 25, 2006. I am currently a 6th grade teacher at Clay Middle School, and I am interested in tutoring students after school. I am in my 6th year of teaching. My Bachelor's degree from IU is in elementary education with endorsements in language arts, math, science, and social studies in grades 1 - 9. I also have a Master's degree in elementary education, with a minor in educational psychology.

Mark has a BS in computer science and a Masters in business. He has taken graduate level courses in statistics and is currently available to tutor in Math (Algebra 1 and 2, Precalc/Trig). Rates available on request. Sheila is an Independent Longaberger Consultant and homeschooling mom.
