Our homelearning family has started a seedling venture in our home called The Sprouted Acorn, a place where homelearners can meet and be mentored by local artists, craftsmen, and teachers in the community. I am a teacher currently working for an online school. I hate it. I have homeschooled some of my own children and am a firm believer in home education. What I am looking to do is teach other people's children in my own home. I have six grown children and 16 grandchildren. I would need to charge about $15 per day per child to replace what I would lose by quitting my full-time job. I'm looking for parents who would like to homeschool their own children but cannot, for some reason. I just don't know how to get my idea out there!
