I am homeschooling my 4 1/2yr old son. We are pretty much winging it right now as the school system won't help him learn on his level. He is classified as Intellectually Gifted and doing 1-3rd grade work.

Hello all you people who take an interest in your kids educations... let me say i would love to meet you ... this is my second year homeschooling and still find it a daunting task... any way i can help let me know ( and i dont know alot..haha) but i am here and hopefully you can answer some of my questions too.

I am currently homeschooling my 4 year old and plan to start on my 2.5 year old in September when he turns 3. I have recently started an association for homeschool families. Looking for people to join. It's a good way for the kids to socialize. We do field trips, picnics, classes, holiday parties, etc. If you would like to recieve and application, please e-mail me and I will mail you one or e-mail it to you.

We have started a small cottage school, consisting of 10 teachers and 20 students. The grammar section is run as a one-room schoolhouse, each child working at his own level in many subjects, but all children working together for Latin, science, history, and other activities.

The upper division, consisting of 6th grade and up, has M-W and T-Th classes, in 1-hour increments. Most of our teachers teach only one class.

We use Latina Christiana I and Prima Latina, and will need to use higher-level books as we continue, of course.

I am the Latin teacher, as I had 4 years of high school Latin in, believe it or not, Boonville, Indiana. I plan to use your site and materials to aid us in our endeavors.

I would also love to visit your school,

I am offering tutoring and enrichment services in reading, math and writing to students who are being Homeschooled.
