I am a former public school teacher who currently does private, individual tutoring in my home. I am an Orton-trained (phonics and reading) tutor, specializing in reading difficulties and dyslexia. i have a special needs grandson who has trouble going from class to class and would like to have info on any teacher or homeschool teacher that teaches in their homes. Both parents work and would need to have a structured time of day for him to go to their home.

I am a certified Special Education teacher for grades K-12. I am also licensed in Social Studies, as well as a teacher of Wilson Reading (a phonics based, Orton-Gillingham approach to phonics/spelling instruction. As a nationally licensed Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, I have experience administering vocational testing as well as the Stanford Nine/Woodcock Johnson.
