Hello Homeschoolers. I am currently in the planning stages of creating a "small" school. Ten to thirty students to teach during the day. The age group is 9 - 13 with a focus on the middle grades. I will be moving to the area this summer. I have a Bachelor degree in Music Education and am looking for young students interested in beginning voice lessons. I currently teach grades 7-12 and private voice. I am qualified to teach all voice types ages 12-20. If you are interested in learning more about music, please contact me! My studio opens in Mid-July 2008 and I have a very flexible schedule!

I have 9 years of teaching experience working with pre-school, elementary, and special needs students. I teach pre-schoolers how to read before they entered kindergarten. I also tutor elementary age students in reading and math. Significant gains of 1 - 3 years in reading level in a few months is typical with the students I work with who are behind. Students are encouraged and motivated to achieve great levels of success with frequent, fun incentives and rewards - they love to come and hate to leave!
