Hello! I am a certified teacher with a Master's degree in K-12 Exceptional Student Education. I am currently employed in one of the best school's in Leon County. I am interested in working with homeschool families or groups to teach Environmental Science to children aged 8-12. I will teach children with or without learning disabilities/differences. I will use engaging and interesting hands on activities to teach science concepts relating to ecology (topics can be chosen by you or by me), as well as encourage and support reading and writing skills. All skills taught will be based on the Sunshine State Standards in Education. We can meet once or twice a week, depending on your preference.
As I am just beginning, you can take advantage of the special low rates I am offering! $30 dollars and hour for one child, $40 for two, $50 for three, etc. (add $10 for each additional child.) In order to give my best to each child, I am limiting sessions to only ten children. *If you have a large homeschool group, email me for information on a Saturday morning Environmental Science Seminar. Topic can be chosen by you are me. Thanks for your time! I look forward to teaching your children about the wonders of the natural world around them and how they can become responsible stewards of the Earth.
