Christian Home Educators of Macon, Inc. (CHEM) was established as a non-profit organization by parents who saw the need to provide supplemental classes to home educated children and to supply additional opportunities for children to learn co-operatively in a Christian environment. It is our belief that children can benefit from varied learning experiences and the co-op is a way to accomplish this task.

Assisted Learning Centers provides participants with a learning path that is individualized and comprehensive. We assist home schoolers by charting and monitoring their academic progress throughout their formative years and beyond.

Our unique approach to learning provides students and parents with the freedom to apply a variety of learning models into their own curriculum. Assisted Learning Centers is affiliates with a nationally accredited private school which issues official High School Diplomas and transcripts.

Thus, Assisted Learning Centers’ can also provide adults with the opportunity to complete and receive their High School Diploma.

We welcome students K-12 who learn independently and would like the opportunity to design their own curriculum, work at their own rate, and develop their own learning style.

We provide home school assistance, custom curricula, and annual assessments. Assisted Learning Center students:

• Participate in the design of their own custom curriculum

Our Band program offers: beginning, Intermediate, Concert and Jazz bands along with beginning and advanced Keyboard, Percussion Ensemble, Choirs for younger and older students, violin classes and Sign language for younger and older students.
