Classes focuses on Basic playing techniques and understanding of good sound production on playing style chosen. Suzuki (ear-training) and Traditional (note-reading) teaching is available based on personal needs. Teaching various styles from Fiddle, Spiritual, Jazz, to Classic. Opportunities for orchestra as well as ensemble playing available. Over 10 years of experience teaching. Cost: $25 for 1/2 hour lessons and available for 1 hour lessons for $40. Homeschool Haven is a non-denominational, Christian homeschool group which meets in Douglasville, Georgia and offers a broad range of academic classes, which are based on the needs of our members, for students from 10 years old through high school. We live in Atlanta, near the Moores Mill exit off of I-75. For 2008-09, would consider adding another child or siblings to our preschool / kindergarten life for a few hours a week in some of these learning areas: math games, writing (Handwriting Without Tears trained), swimming, Spanish; possible carpool to such outside activities as dance, music/drama, gymnastics. Can swap for time in your home school or an hourly rate. Elementary age OK too.
