Crown Athletics is a not-for-profit athletic association created for the benefit of home educated students living in the north metro area of Atlanta, Georgia. Participation is open to all area home school students in grades 6-12 who are abiding by Georgia home school laws and who meet the age and eligibility requirements of each sport. My son will be 16 in September and I am looking to find a home schooling program to enter him in. He was going to an alternative school because they were saying he had a learning disability but have not proved that to me that he does. homeschooler of two 7 year old children, a boy and a girl, and I've found wonderful art and science oppprtunities to enhance our learning, although they're located in alpharetta, they're both worth the drive. At times I would love the break and I'm sure they would injoy the companionship of their peers, I just don't care for some of the math and science curriculums used by the homeschool alternative schools.

Promise Christian Academy is located in Dallas, GA. The school meets at Pumpkinvine Baptist Church. The school is considered a non-traditional private Christian school. Students attend classes Monday - Thursday from 8:05-12:30. Friday is considered a "homeschool" day. Teachers provide students with their assigments for Friday each week. After-school activites are offered. The school has the status of Accredited with Quality from The Georgia Accrediting Commission. The school currently houses first through fifth grade. For the 07 - 08 year, the school will add sixth grade.
