We have been homeschooling for 7 years. My son went to public school for 5 weeks and was doing well. Then he was beat up in the locker room and suspended for self defense. I took him out. I need to get him involved in a Co-op for his benefit.

Christian Homemaker, Mother of three (daughter 10, son 5, daughter 2 1/2), homeschooled eldest daughter half of this year but just put her back in school. Still teaching other two at home. I didn't feel that I was giving eldest child what she needed (ie projects, foreign language, etc.). My heart says to homeschool everyone but honestly I feel overwhelmed with children, housework and being the educator.

We are a Christian homeschool co-op from K4 thru 12th grade. Our teachers are accredited teachers who now homeschool or long time homeschoolers. We offer everything from etiquette and yearbook staffs to Algebra 2 and civics and gov. We meet on Tuesday mornings from 9:30am to 11:45am. Greenville Classical Academy is a classical Christian School located in the Upstate of SC. We are now enrolling grades K5 - 9. We also have a program called Home School Alliance where we allow home schooled students in grades 7 - 12 to take classes along with our full-time students. I am able to tutor mathematics and physics through the college level. Currently I teach calculus, precalculus and geometry at Gaston Christian School in Belmont, NC. I teach for student understanding always! I tend to avoid calculators as much as possible and seek to instill in students the process of problem solving. I am toying with the idea of teaching to a small group in this immediate area.

I am an Orton-Gillingham trained tutor with 8 years experience in both basic and advanced levels. I homeschooled my 2 children, who are both now in graduate school.
