We are all trained in Orton Gillingham Basic and Advanced courses. We all hold certificates from a Fellow in the society. We teach children from reading readiness (phonological awareness) to college level. We offer written expression, reading comprehension, math (all levels), SAT and ACT prep. We also have home school support where there is a maximum of three students in a class.

SonRise Christian Academy started in 1997. We are located at McKee Road Baptist Church. Our class to teacher ratio is 10:1. I am a former international school teacher. I taught for ten years at Almaty International School (www.qsi.org). I am accustomed to teaching smaller groups of students; thus I feel tutoring would be a natural extension. I have taught algebra II/trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, and biology.
