I am a community counselor, former school guidance counselor, who has homeschooled students, I\'ve nannied, and tutored. While working in a local church, with children of all ages, for the past 5 years, and reorganizing my community counseling profession, I\'m looking for part-time, or temporary work teaching, or tutoring. I spent 3 years, as an educational graphic designer for an Educational Biological Corporation, have a passion for Geology, and all sciences. My B.S. is in Psychology, which required courses in Biology, and Chemistry. My B.F.A. is in Fine Art and Design, a great motivator in learning science through projects, and My M.A. is in School, and Community Counseling.
I live a few miles from Gems Science in Concord, NC. I also love to tutor/teach History, and Social sciences, or any Art/Art History, including Philosophy. Have experience tutoring in a creative writing lab, and have taught Abeka Math and Language/Phonics ages 4-7. Great with behavioral problems, and children with disabilities.
