I love teaching! I have 4 years of full-time teaching experience with the public school system. I currently work part-time as a substitute teacher for Montgomery Co. Schools. In June 2000 I left full time teaching to stay at home with my children until they reached school age. I would love to work with you on your homeschooling adventure. 540-381-4952, 540-521-9535 or jimmygrc@verizon.net.

I am a home educator of four children, ages 20-14, in the final five years of a twenty year venture of schooling at home. Currently, I'm exploring options of how and where to continue teaching after my children graduate. Opening a classical school is my first choice, yet I wonder how viable that notion is in this area. I would like to hear from anyone in the Roanoke--Martinsville, VA corridor who might have comments about this.
Tutoring in algebra and grammar and/or offering classical classes in history, the sciences, and literature are options that are under consideration. I would like to have more Latin before attempting to teach it to anyone other than my own. Advice and comments are welcomed.
