I am a homeschooling Mom who may be forced to go back to work and would prefer a private tutor for all 3 of my kids aged 13,9,9 they are ADD and Dyslexic and putting them in a private school is terribly expensive . I am interested in a Lutheran/Christian Tutor/Teacher who could do the Language arts and Math part of thier education. We are presently RE .

I am homeschooling my 2 & K daughters and also have a 3 year old daughter and an infant son. Cottage schools sound very efficient and I am interested in finding out the logistics of making it work.

We have an 11 year old daughter with ADHD. She works very hard in school and has yet to have continued success. We have used CLub Z tutoring which has been some help , but not great. Our daughter is now in 6th grade at a challenging private school and is struggling now more than ever. We really need a special education tutor to help find the best way for her to learn & retain inforamtion (strategies). She seems to grasp material in one on one, but it does not translate on tests. We live in Midlothian and would prefer in home tutoring. Our daughter is eager to learn and is quite capable. Please help....

St. Bede's Latin School, a classical Christian school in Charlottesville, is set to open in the autumn of 2006. We offer instruction in Latin, Greek, math, logic, music, drawing, history, and literature. In its first year, St. Bede's is accepting students in grades 6th through 8th; but one grade will be added each year for four years, completing a middle and high school program. Our schedule is three days a week, Tuesday through Thursday, giving families ample time to supplement and enrich their children's studies.

French Language Teacher
In my instruction I use the interactive and dynamic French language learning method from CLE-International. This method is widely recognized and successfully used in the elementary schools throughout Europe. It introduces language structures and vocabulary progressively in a diverse range of entertaining contexts. The main emphasis of the instruction is on developing children’s listening, comprehension and speaking skills.
I was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, where I graduated from a French High School and the Sofia University "Kliment Ohridski" with MA degrees in Psychology and French. I am also fluent in four other languages (Greek, Russian, Italian and English) and have had an extensive and long-term experience as a teacher, interpreter and translator in foreign languages in Sofia, Bulgaria and Athens, Greece. I have lived in the United States since 2001 and have been teaching French to children in several Chesterfield County Public elementary schools in their enrichment programs and as a private tutor in my home. I am fully aware of the benefits of early second language learning and I am an enthusiastic advocate of exposing young children to a second language and culture. I am energetic, creative and I have the ability to successfully interact with children in a learning environment.
