We have 3 children so far, 4 1/2, 3, and 1. I will begin homeschooling my eldest for kindergarten this fall. We are interested in a classical Christian curriculum, but need to learn more.

My children currently are homeschooled 3 days a week and attend a Christian school for homeschooled children 3 days a week at an actual campus with licensed teachers. It is a unique school since ALL the children are homeschooled (2 or 3 days). We LOVE our school, but are moving. Are there ANY other similar schools out there? I would love to hear about them!

We are a homeschooling family with two children, a 13year old daughter and a 16 year old son. We have been using a christian classical curriculum for the past 5years. My son is now at an all boys boarding school... and the jury is still out on that adventure.We have loved schooling this way however the big drawback has been the lack of christian adulescent friends and inability to play on a school's team.

St. Bede's Latin School, a classical Christian school in Charlottesville, is set to open in the autumn of 2006. We offer instruction in Latin, Greek, math, logic, music, drawing, history, and literature. In its first year, St. Bede's is accepting students in grades 6th through 8th; but one grade will be added each year for four years, completing a middle and high school program. Our schedule is three days a week, Tuesday through Thursday, giving families ample time to supplement and enrich their children's studies.

High School program Fall 2006: Old Testament in Chronological Order, Ancient History/Literature/Geography, Jacob's Geometry, Astronomy, Latin or Spanish, Economics (fall), U.S. Government (spring). Classical approach w/ mentoring. Classes limited to 8 students. Meets once/week on Thursdays from 8-4 p.m., soccer follows in spring, fall.
