We comply with the Comar 05 and do not require a document of faith to belong to our umbrella. We are inclusive in our philosophies both education and religious. We have both a support group as well as umbrella. We also keep our group open to homeschoolers who are in need of support. We offer many opportunities for filed trips and activities and events along with group memberships to educational subscription when it can be arranged. We at Many Paths believe that families and students learn best when self motivated. We strive to help you accomplish this goal. Many Paths holds the belief that learning is a life long process and homeschooling is a family adventure. Many Paths goal is that each family and student should follow their own path, strengths and learning styles. We recognize that the family has a intuitive insight to what is best for their educational choices. Many Paths will support and give guidance and direction on educational resources and activities to best enhance your learning environment. Many Paths will draw on the uniqueness of the family, we focus on commonalities and mutual respect to develop the most natural learning environment. BaHaCeHS exists to create an online forum to share resources, ideas and support among the homeschooling community within the North-Central corridor of Maryland. Our group has become a conduit for sharing information about the many wonderful opportunities available to homeschoolers in the area to include the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan area, Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Our geography lends itself to an amazingly wide array of fantastic and unique experiences for our children to expand their learning. BaHaCeHS is an online support group which is open to all members of the homeschool community, primarily to those in BAltimore, HArford, and CEcil counties of Maryland although we happily welcome members from the surrounding areas. We currently have members from many Maryland counties, Baltimore City and also Pennsylvania and Delaware.



BaHaCeHS is an inclusive, open forum of homeschooling families - many of whom belong to other specific homeschooling groups and umbrella programs. We are proud that our membership consists of a wide variety and broad range of religious and homeschooling philosophies. We expect every member to model tolerance and demonstrate respect to each other and focus our energy on supporting each other in our homeschooling efforts.



We have a large pool of knowledge, experience and expertise within our membership. Each homeschool family is unique, just as each child is unique. By being a member of BaHaCeHS, each member has access to wealth of resources and can tap into the community for advice and input. There are so many different thoughts and perspectives about teaching our children.

Well, I am really bummed as DH doesn't want me to homeschool the two younger ones next year like I had planned. I will continue to homeschool my daughter who will be in the 11th grade. I was really looking forward to fulfilling my dreams of teaching and watching as the kids learned new things. He said he would like to have them complete the elementary school years then we could discuss it again. I was so looking forward to this and already had almost the entire years work organized. I had one mom tell me I should see if there was anyone who wanted to pay me to homeschool their child/children. If you would be interested in this please contact me. If I get no responses I thought..... What about if I offered classes to a specific age group on a specific day every week. So I thought maybe K-1st on Monday from 9-12, Sept-May, except the occasional closing for a holiday,
teach Science, Art and Language Arts through reading Stories, fables,tales etc... Charge a fee of $50.00 per child per month (discount given to more than 1 family member)- openings for up to 8 children, I would provide all materials, a syllabus for each class, Folders with the work completed for reviews etc.... Just drop your child/children off and come back at 12. Then the following year I could keep the same kids together and do 1st-2nd etc..If this worked out I could do other
elementary age groups on different days. AND/OR I could offer a time for 6th-12th grade students one day a week for 2 hours where they can design greeting cards, gifts and such using stamping, scrapbooking, etc.. They would have 2-3 items they could make each week and I would charge $40 a month. If interested please contact me.

New to Fells Point, Downtown Baltimore City. Homeschooling a 5th grade boy with Asperger's. The more the merrier I say so anyone looking for company or help let me know. I have been providing instruction for 3 yrs. and advocating at 504/IEPs for other parents too. We are in desperate need of kids to socialize with as he is sweet as can be but lonely.
