BaHaCeHS exists to create an online forum to share resources, ideas and support among the homeschooling community within the North-Central corridor of Maryland. Our group has become a conduit for sharing information about the many wonderful opportunities available to homeschoolers in the area to include the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan area, Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Our geography lends itself to an amazingly wide array of fantastic and unique experiences for our children to expand their learning. BaHaCeHS is an online support group which is open to all members of the homeschool community, primarily to those in BAltimore, HArford, and CEcil counties of Maryland although we happily welcome members from the surrounding areas. We currently have members from many Maryland counties, Baltimore City and also Pennsylvania and Delaware.



BaHaCeHS is an inclusive, open forum of homeschooling families - many of whom belong to other specific homeschooling groups and umbrella programs. We are proud that our membership consists of a wide variety and broad range of religious and homeschooling philosophies. We expect every member to model tolerance and demonstrate respect to each other and focus our energy on supporting each other in our homeschooling efforts.



We have a large pool of knowledge, experience and expertise within our membership. Each homeschool family is unique, just as each child is unique. By being a member of BaHaCeHS, each member has access to wealth of resources and can tap into the community for advice and input. There are so many different thoughts and perspectives about teaching our children.

I'am a Parent of 5 And all are in the Public School Systems. I do not like the invironment the Public Schools offer .One of my son's was physically attacked in Edgewood Middle School, and this has forced me to withdraw all of my children for Protection...... It would help me if I had some help on the preperation of getting started for the year of 06 and further .Feel free to email me any information that would help,I look forward into having Parent Meetings at my Home to Help each other. I have extensive training in The Orton-Gillingham Method of teaching from The Jemicy School, Wilson Language, Project Read and other training sources. I have been tutoring dyslexic students for more than ten years. My teaching method is multisensory and based on the students learning needs. In addition, I tutor spelling, writing and math along with helping students with their current home schooling work. Presently I'm available during the day for tutoring individuals or groups. I am certified in the state of Maryland and work with grades 3-8. I have been trained to work with students with special needs, however these strategies also work with students without disabilities. I have been very successful with teaching students how to multiply with a special program. I am available to work with students individually or with groups.

We are a Kodokan Judo martial arts program. Judo is an official Olympic Sport, and involves no kicking or punching of any kind. We offer training for ages 8 to Adult. We also offer special training in association with the United States Association of Blind Athletes (USABA) in Blind Judo for visually impaired students.

Fees are extremely reasonable at only $50 for 8-Weeks / 16 Classes.... We are a 501c3 Non Profit Club!
