BaHaCeHS exists to create an online forum to share resources, ideas and support among the homeschooling community within the North-Central corridor of Maryland. Our group has become a conduit for sharing information about the many wonderful opportunities available to homeschoolers in the area to include the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan area, Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Our geography lends itself to an amazingly wide array of fantastic and unique experiences for our children to expand their learning. BaHaCeHS is an online support group which is open to all members of the homeschool community, primarily to those in BAltimore, HArford, and CEcil counties of Maryland although we happily welcome members from the surrounding areas. We currently have members from many Maryland counties, Baltimore City and also Pennsylvania and Delaware.



BaHaCeHS is an inclusive, open forum of homeschooling families - many of whom belong to other specific homeschooling groups and umbrella programs. We are proud that our membership consists of a wide variety and broad range of religious and homeschooling philosophies. We expect every member to model tolerance and demonstrate respect to each other and focus our energy on supporting each other in our homeschooling efforts.



We have a large pool of knowledge, experience and expertise within our membership. Each homeschool family is unique, just as each child is unique. By being a member of BaHaCeHS, each member has access to wealth of resources and can tap into the community for advice and input. There are so many different thoughts and perspectives about teaching our children.

Many Paths of natural learning is registered with the MD Department of Educations as a approved Umbrella to overseeing home instruction in Maryland. We comply with the Comar 05 and do not require a document of faith to belong to our umbrella. We are inclusive in our philosophies both education and religious. We have both a support group as well as umbrella. We also keep our group open to homeschoolers who are in need of support. We offer many opportunities for filed trips and activities and events along with group memberships to educational subscription when it can be arranged. We at Many Paths believe that families and students learn best when self motivated. We strive to help you accomplish this goal. Many Paths holds the belief that learning is a life long process and homeschooling is a family adventure. Many Paths goal is that each family and student should follow their own path, strengths and learning styles. We recognize that the family has a intuitive insight to what is best for their educational choices. Many Paths will support and give guidance and direction on educational resources and activities to best enhance your learning environment. Many Paths will draw on the uniqueness of the family, we focus on commonalities and mutual respect to develop the most natural learning environment. Homeschooling in MD, trying to align our school with Charlotte Mason ideology/Classical Curriculum. We are eclectic and pull from many sources. Daughters 10 and 9 do much with imaginative play. Reading real books is a very large part of our schooling.

I have taught middle school grades 6-8 special education and am certified in the state of Maryland for Special Education. I hold a Master's degree in Education and also a Master's degree in Counseling. I enjoy working with children of all ages, grade levels and abilities.

I am in my mid-thirties and have two teenagers. I am beginning my senior year at Millersville University and expect to graduate in December 2006. My major is special education which will enable me to teach students in kindergarten through grade 12. I am interested in working as a home tutor in the Elizabethtown area. I am certified in the state of Maryland and work with grades 3-8. I have been trained to work with students with special needs, however these strategies also work with students without disabilities. I have been very successful with teaching students how to multiply with a special program. I am available to work with students individually or with groups.

I have extensive training in The Orton-Gillingham Method of teaching from The Jemicy School, Wilson Language, Project Read and other training sources. I have been tutoring dyslexic students for more than ten years. My teaching method is multisensory and based on the students learning needs. In addition, I tutor spelling, writing and math along with helping students with their current home schooling work. Presently I'm available during the day for tutoring individuals or groups.
