St. Gregory's is a classical, Catholic homeschool cooperative that meets on Thursdays for 30 weeks during the school year and offers classes in Latin, writing, history and science. We meet at the historic St. John church in Orange, NJ drawing families throughout Northern New Jersey - Union, Essex, Hudson, Somerset, Morris, Passaic, Bergen and Sussex Counties. Classes start in September and run through May.

We are moving to the Priceton area (West Windsor) in December 07. My son is coming off a terrible year in a California school and rather than put him into the West Windsor school, I would rather boost his confidence and have him homeschooled for the rest of the year (5th grade). I am interested in finding a teacher that would help me with this endeavor. I am also fluent in French and have taught at the Community College level. Though I will be working full time, I would be happy to tutor a class in French a couple of nights durng the week or on weekends.

The King is the Thing is a unique chess club which teaches important life skills through chess instruction. Along with step-by-step lessons in the fundamentals of chess, children will learn how God's Word can help us make "all the right moves" in our daily lives.

The King is the Thing is designed for children ages 8-12, with or without previous experience in chess. The club meets on Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:00 at Fellowship Bible Church, located at 109 New Amwell Road in Hillsborough. The eight club sessions will be held on May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, and June 7, 14, 21. The program is absolutely free, although space is limited and registration is therefore encouraged.

Covenant Classical Academy is a new school in Somerset County with plans to open its doors in Fall of 2008 with grammer and dialetic grades along with homeschool courses. A thoroughly Christian Worldview will be taught through all disciplines following the classical model.

I have homeschooled for 5 years now and am in my 5th year of teaching Latin. I can teach all levels of Latina Christiana as well 1st year high school Latin.
