St. Gregory's is a classical, Catholic homeschool cooperative that meets on Thursdays for 30 weeks during the school year and offers classes in Latin, writing, history and science. We meet at the historic St. John church in Orange, NJ drawing families throughout Northern New Jersey - Union, Essex, Hudson, Somerset, Morris, Passaic, Bergen and Sussex Counties. Classes start in September and run through May.

Looking for writing teachers for our small co-op for the 2007-2008 schoolyear. We meet on Fridays in Netcong, NJ. We need teachers for 9th-12th grade for essay writing. Creative Writing for 7th-8th grade and basic writing for 5th-6th grades. We are also looking for a high school biology teacher and the possibilty of a Latin teacher for high schoolers.

My background is Fine Arts. I apprenticed with the renowned illustrator, Tim Hildebrandt. I also apprenticed with the Hawaiian artist Shirley REO Beene. I'd love to help create a co-op school in my area. I homeschool my 5 & 6 yr old children, with an emphasis on Classical Educational methods. Anyone interested in joining forces and creating a co-op in the Mt. Olive/Morris County area?

I am a homeschooling mom of 7 years, 4 children. This current school year another hs mom and myself are starting a Classical Co-op (currently 14 families) that we want to evolve into a Cottage School at the upper grades. I would like to join this Cottage School community to be able to find likeminded homeschooling families, share ideas and learn more about starting/operating a Cottage School.

Covenant Classical Academy is a new school in Somerset County with plans to open its doors in Fall of 2008 with grammer and dialetic grades along with homeschool courses. A thoroughly Christian Worldview will be taught through all disciplines following the classical model.

We are currently in need of (possibly volunteer?) full time teachers, and part time teachers of Latin, Art and middle school Science.

I am a new violin teacher in Basking Ridge, just moved here from Maryland with my husband and 2 kids. I absolutely love kids and teaching. The American Hornbook Company produces laminated two-sided fact guides for students in all subject areas and multiculturalism. Using national and state standards as guidelines, the hornbooks provide students with the "need to know" facts to get them to the next level. Level 1 is geared to elementary students, Level 2 for middle school students.
