Looking for a private high school for my 14 yr old. He was in a private catholic school from kindergarten to 8th grade. Since he has been in the public school system, his grades and attitude have gone spirally down.

I have taught high school Math (Algebra I and II, Integrated Math) and English (Strategies in Writing, Reading Comprehension, Creative Writing/Poetry, all genres). I have also taught Business Studies and English at the college level as well. I use the local library or alternative locations for tutoring in the afternoons and on the weekends. Negotiable rates and group/family discounts are available. I have a BA in English and a JD in Law. I celebrate diversity and turn learning challenges into opportunities.

Hello. As a former nanny and assistant to adults with mental disabilities, I have a bachelor's equivalent in Elementary Education, five years of home school experience teaching my five children-setting up a Montessori classroom and choosing my own curriculum. I have travel experience of the whole United States. I have taught writing
to fifth graders, tutored a boy in reading and am spending this summer tutoring a woman for her G.E.D. In August I will become certified in the Orton Gillingham Method.

I am interested in helping home school families get started in home schooling, tutoring children in reading or any other
elementary subject.

I'm currently a PhD student at Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth. I finished my major in Math at Montclair State University, NJ, and have been working and training at the Center for Academic Development and Assessment as a master tutor for about 2 years, beside doing private tutoring in Math for ALL levels.
