Our son is a senior in an online academy. Through a mixup he has completed 4 months of the wrong science class. The school just contacted us on Jan. 11 and we signed up for the right course which he needed to graduate. It is way over our heads and we are looking for a tuitor skilled in Science to help.

I conduct a Catholic apostolate called "The Fullness of Truth" in western Massachusetts. Part of this apostolate includes teaching a weekly four year course on catechesis/apologetics to both teenagers and adults. I'm able to offer selections from this course in a reduced one or two year program, or even as occasional talks to groups of students. I'm a homeschool graduate who now teaches piano and Latin. I have taught classical piano for five years and Latin for three. This fall (2007), in addition to private piano lessons and private Latin lessons, I will be offering Latin 1 classes for homeschoolers grades 6-12. I will also offer class for homeschool parents who wish to teach their own children Latin. Once a month we will meet to cover the next month's materials and I will be available to answer questions via e-mail in between.

Hello. As a former nanny and assistant to adults with mental disabilities, I have a bachelor's equivalent in Elementary Education, five years of home school experience teaching my five children-setting up a Montessori classroom and choosing my own curriculum. I have travel experience of the whole United States. I have taught writing
to fifth graders, tutored a boy in reading and am spending this summer tutoring a woman for her G.E.D. In August I will become certified in the Orton Gillingham Method.

I am interested in helping home school families get started in home schooling, tutoring children in reading or any other
