Our Lady of the Way Homeschool Academy offers academic assistance to homeschooling parents and their children, always with a view to strengthening the parent's role as first educators of their children. All services can be developed for use in-person, in an on-line classroom, by telephone, or by fax or e-mail. A small private Catholic school in rural New Hampshire teaching grades 1-12, IHM School offers a traditional, liberal arts education permeated with the Faith. Daily Mass (in the traditional Roman Rite) begins every school day. Teachers are both religious (in full habit) and lay.

I am a certified Massachusetts teacher, seeking students to tutor. My certification is in Moderate Special Needs (Pre K – grade 8)with a minor in Reading. I have taught Kindergarten and was placed in grades 1st through 6th, although I am comfortable working with students up to 12th grade. I conduct a Catholic apostolate called "The Fullness of Truth" in western Massachusetts. Part of this apostolate includes teaching a weekly four year course on catechesis/apologetics to both teenagers and adults. I'm able to offer selections from this course in a reduced one or two year program, or even as occasional talks to groups of students. I am home schooling my son, Ethan (age 6 - 1st grade). He's studying all the req'd subjects in an awesome way, reading WAY beyond the 1st grade level, and flying through his lessons! Plus he's learning french, spanish, sign language, dance, drama and manual drafting this year! We're really excited to be teaming up for his education.

Also, I would love to teach your child for you if you cannot. The IHIP that I wrote completely myself was reviewed by a retired Elementary Teacher and she was VERY impressed. This year, we are studying the four basics: math, english, science and social studies, as well as french, spanish, sign language, music, creative arts, drama, manual drafting, dance, and yoga. I am also a Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor AND I have the complete teaching curriculum for the Indigo Dreams program for children, which teaches meditation and "anger management" to children.
Lastly, I have written a children's book about my son who gets "the grouchies" one day (illustrated as little nasty faerie-like creatures that stimulate his outbursts), then he recalls hearing mom lead her yoga students with a guided meditation and visualizes lying on the beach, feeling the ocean waves taking away "the grouchies."
We need friends to share our educational experience with.

I conduct a Roman Catholic apostolate called "The Fullness of Truth." This consists of speaking at parishes and meetings, teaching adults and teenagers, and a weekly radio program. I am available to teach a three-year apologetics course to homeschoolers or adults.
